Nurse Takes Oath At Ricks College In 1958 Ceremony
Miss Glenda Cole, daughter of Mr and Mrs Wayne Cole of Whitney, joined 45 freshman nurses receiving caps and taking the nurses oath during impressive ceremonies at Ricks College. Instructors Barbara Quirl and Rowena Stemmons presented caps as students pledged. Ricks College helped pioneer the two year nursing program via the Atlantic Project begun in 1958.
