Franklin County February 1948 Board Meeting Highlights
The Franklin County Commissioners met in regular session February 1948 led by Chairman D Ariel Nash. They discussed drainage District No. 4 north of Preston and planned a joint meeting with Preston officials and drainage district officials. A list of 1948 jurors was approved. The Equalization Program was discussed with temporary staff changes. State officials reviewed health standards and pipeline crossing permits were deferred. Numerous bills were approved for current expenses including taxes, utilities, supplies, and county services.
