Willis Burton Named Second Counselor in Idaho Stake Presidency
Willis Burton, former Pres ton man, named second counselor in the Idaho Stake presidency Sunday. He had been serving as the second counselor in the Soda Springs Fourth ward bishop ric. Burton was serving as first counselor in the Oneida Stake presidency when he moved to Soda Springs in 1966. He is the associate manager of the Farm Bureau insurance in Soda Springs.

Public Development Group to Meet Community in Franklin County

LDS Church Approves Preston Ward Chapel Construction
A Salt Lake City committee approves a $350000 project for a Preston Seventh ward chapel next to the present Third ward site. Groundbreaking is set for May 15 with a year to complete. James C. Taylor, a former Preston resident, was elected vice president of Utah Power and Light by the board. He will serve as vice president of commercial operations overseeing Utah, Idaho, Colorado and Wyoming divisions.
