Area's Water Outlook Said Highly Favorable
The water outlook for Utah and southeastern Idaho is highly favorable except for reservoir storage. A February report by Gregory L. Pearson notes increased Bear River basin forecasts from the February storms. Rain on the snowpack caused runoff and flooding where ground was not frozen, while unfrozen ground allowed soaking and higher future flows.
