Sisson Leaves Preston Public Works Chief Post

Henry Sisson resigns as Preston public works director after 12 000 yearly pay. The 44 year old Idaho native, hired January 16, cited dissatisfaction and plans to return to Idaho State University program. Council lauded his work improving city shop yard inventory and maintenance, and projected a two week remaining term.

Franklin County lists total assessed valuation at 12 460 199 a rise of 616 273 from 1973 Real and personal property total 8 722 328 with personal property added 57 710 and utility value 3 630 161 County figures confirmed by Marion Bennett The statewide increase reaches 147 272 186 bringing 1974 state total to 1 370 408 455.

Two-Vehicle Crash in Whitney Causes $650 Damages

Carole C. Garrett and Robert G. Henderson were involved in a two-vehicle collision on a Whitney county road near the Whitney Church road. Garrett, 34, was cited for failure to yield. Estimated damages split: $350 to the car and $300 to the pickup.
