Mr. and Mrs. Junior White attended a MIA conference in Salt Lake City where Mr White received a church scouting honor for the Cleveland troop. The Cleveland group was among fifty church troops to earn the award for outstanding achievements in scouting.

Funeral services were held Tuesday for Mrs. Etta Campbell Gibson 69 of Preston a Logan temple officer and active LDS Church worker. Born June 30 1894 in Liberty Weber County Utah she married Robert Berrett Gibson on April 12 1916 in the Salt Lake temple. Survivors include her husband and several siblings.
Five young girls have joined one of Garbett Sha Mendenhall Maiente to form a junior marching corps. The group practices weekly and aims to perform at local events, building rhythm and teamwork in the elementary years.
