In Franklin County presiding magistrate court fines were added to $7.50 court costs for multiple offenses. Ervin James Rawlings of Preston paid $10 for failure to use due care. Community notices and visits at local nursing home
For two months the Fourth ward bishopric will direct the nursing home activities. Newell Hart and his brother Reed from Salt Lake City entertained residents with piano and banjo. Della Keller and Gloria Jensen led a sing along. volunteers are welcome to arrange more programs. Town visitors included several local families and residents. In Mink Creek, Bill Carver's grandson Thomas Vincent Lipp died at age four from leukemia. Explorers Rally teams from Cache Valley and Salt Lake City earned top placements with Dean Wilde and Larry Egley as navigators.
