Mound Valley reports a baby boy born January 14 to Mr and Mrs J H Taylor at Preston. Mr and Mrs Howard Bennett moved to Pocatello for Howard to work in a Palace meat market. Mrs A E Bennett to return home from Salt Lake hospital this week after a two week stay. A genealogical program accompanied Sacrament ane aet, directed by Vernon Harris. Roma Anderson and her two girls visited sisters Leora and Connie of Mound Valley.
Swan Lake and Downey residents attended a Friday dance in Pocatello. Perry Beckstead of Pocateello spent the weekend with Leo Beckstead. The Ladies Sewing club met at Mrs. Elms Abbott’s home last Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Olsen, and Mr. and Mrs. James Abbott joined a Downey basketball game. Swan Lake Sunday School was reorganized on Sunday.
Sheriff Hansen of Franklin County Idaho announces a public auction of an estray brown mare six years old weighing 1350 pounds with star on forehead. If owner does not pay costs, the animal will be sold for cash on February 9 1946 at 12 o'clock noon at the H. W. Ziegler ranch five miles northwest of Preston Idaho.
A 2 year old dark mare weighing 800 pounds with no visible brands or marks is to be sold at a public auction for cash to cover accumulated costs. The sale will be at Mildred Keller ranch Mink Creek Franklin County Idaho on February 9 1946 at 2 pm. E L Hansen Sheriff Franklin County Idaho.
In the Matter of the Estate of F C Yonk deceased Andrew Jensen filed a petition asking the court to direct Frank Parker as administrator to convey a 14.77 acre parcel plus 15 shares of water stock in Twin Lakes Canal Co to Jensen The land lies in Section 13 Township and County Idaho with a February 2 1946 hearing set in Preston Franklin County.
Mabel Kent petitions the Franklin County Idaho Court to direct administrator Frank Parker to convey Lots 5 and 6 in Block 5 of the Arimo Townsite to Kent. The lots cover 5.08 acres described from a 1907 deed. hearing set for January 2, 1946 at 2 pm in Preston courthouse.
