Clifton Lihoma girls hosted a Daddy Date party Friday night in the junior Sunday school room of the ward chapel. Stake officers Belva Porter and Leah Taylor Douglas Fisher and Jack Wood attended. Teachers Caire Atkinson and Delores Coburn led the event with Valdene Fisher as chairwoman. About 40 people enjoyed lunch, a program, and games.

County President Harold B Fisher Paul Woodward Ralph Esplin and Frank J Gilbert attended the Farm Bureau Leadership Training School in Pocatello on Tuesday and Wednesday. Max Benitz of Washington State Farm Bureau gave the opening address. Training sessions followed by the Idaho Centennial Film. The annual Commodity and Farm Bureau Woman's Conference was held Monday with Utah Farm Bureau President I V Smoot opening both groups. Mrs Florence Thomas AFBF Board Member Illinois spoke at the Women’s Conference.

A ward teachers party was held recently in the Thatcher ward recreation hall. LeRoy Hare of Grace entertained with several musical and vocal numbers. Refreshments were served to a large group. Clifton Mrs LaRee Crosby Shaw entered Preston Memorial Hospital last Monday evening for minor surgery and returned home Wednesday.
