Three Schools To Combine Here In Band Concert

Three schools join for an all city band concert in Preston High gym this Saturday. North Cache High School from North Cache will guest under Stratford’s direction. About 200 musicians, including Franklin County and Preston High bands, perform two marches and national anthems to raise funds for band activities and new uniforms.

Florence Golightly Corbridge Dies at 91 in Ogden

Former Preston resident Florence Golightly Corbridge 91 died at her Ogden home Wednesday. Born Sept 12 1884 in Preston, she was married to Clarence Corbridge. Survived by husband of Ogden, three sons, two daughters, and several grandchildren.

Clifford Warr Attends Four-State Bank Meeting in Spokane

Clifford Warr, secretary treasurer of the Idaho Pioneer National Farm Loan association, attended a two day Spokane meeting with officials from four states. The review covered bank operations in Idaho, Washington, Oregon and Venezuela, discussions of bank and association programs, and long term loan services for the banks.
