March of Dollars Is Needed This Year Says State Chairman

Polio patients in Idaho convalescent homes in Boise have a vital stake in the 1951 March of Dimes campaign. State chairman Robert S. Overstreet notes past campaigns funded hospitalization and care for about 500 Idaho polio patients in the last year. The drive must cover a national deficit and fund upcoming needs, as the March of Dimes has extended emergency support from iron lung pools and hospitals in Boise, Idaho Falls, Pocatello, Salt Lake City, and Spokane.
