In a Saturday ceremony at the Page home in Fairview Bishop Vaughn Larsen officiated. Barbara Page wore iridescent green satin with pearl jewelry and the couple began a brief honeymoon before Bowles returns to Keesler AFB Biloxi.
Miss Ruth H Nelson of Mink Creek married Kenneth Dickinson of Weston Oregon in a candlelit home ceremony December 28 officiated by Bishop Lloyd Christensen. The couple plans to reside in Portland Oregon.
Formal announcement by Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Knudson reveals the engagement of their daughter Virgene Knudson to Milton Gambles son of Mr. and Mrs. George Gambles of Swan Lake. The couple have no wedding date set yet and a dinner party was held last week with local guests.
Mrs. E. S. Foss entertained Thursday afternoon at her home for members of her board club. Special guests were Mrs. Phil West and Mrs. Don E. Smith. A dessert luncheon was served and the remainder of the afternoon was spent playing cards. Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Oss tallied Sears honors at the game.
Miss Jacqueline Mendenhall of Thatcher married Pfc. Robert W. Barden of the U S Marine Corps in a candlelight ceremony at the Williams ward LDS chapel. The couple, with family and out of town guests, celebrated with a reception and a three tiered cake. The bride, a Grace High School graduate and Idaho State College junior, will honeymoon before settling in San Diego where the groom is stationed.
