Franklin County Commissioners Adopt 1949 Budget and Appointments
The Franklin County Board of Commissioners met December 1948 and January 1949, approving salary changes and numerous appointments. They ordered half reductions on Ray Geisler improvements after a fire, granted widow exemptions, and allocated transfers to balance 1948 budgets. New officers, deputies, and road crew salaries were set, along with 1949 budget appropriations and beer license fees for the year.
