Governor Declines 800000 School Fund From Special Session
Idaho Governor Bottolfsen refused to include an 800000 emergency school appropriation in the upcoming special session called to address the soldier vote issue. The Idaho School Trustees Association urged the money for needy schools in 1944 45, citing 1300 teachers leaving in 1942 43 and only 370 potential new hires. The group asked the Idaho Education Association and Idaho Education Council to join the appeal.
