Preston youths win top prizes at Afton snowmobile meet
Preston youngsters Sam and LaDawn Smith of Riverdale won multiple titles at the Western Snowmobile Association event in Afton Wyoming. LaDawn earned first in 300 modified and 440 modified, while Sam took first in 340 stock and 440 modified B-MIAA and also won a mile cross country. The prior weekend LaDawn claimed two firsts and two seconds at Bailey Creek near Soda Springs, where Sam won one first and a third. Sam’s wife Vicky also won a Bailey Creek prize.

Idaho urges vaccination for horses against VEE disease
