Funeral Held For Alvin Hull Tuesday
Funeral services were held Tuesday for A C Hull a prominent Idaho farmer and rancher who helped bring the Franklin County Sugar Company to the area He died December 24 at his Whitney home Born February 12 1881 in Whitney he was the son of Robert McClellan Hull and Mary Ann Chadwick He graduated Oneida Stake Academy attended BYC and Utah Agricultural College and earned a degree from the University of Utah He taught in Preston and Whitney then farmed and raised stock in Whitney and Cub River He served a LDS Church mission in the Southern States and held church roles including MIA priesthood quorum leader Sunday School and High Priest teacher He helped organize the Franklin County Fair and Rodeo and was president of the Preston and Whitney Irrigation Company He aided the Franklin County Sugar Company and served as agricultural superintendent until retirement He married Ella Maughan June 24 1908 in the Logan Temple and they had eight children and many descendants He is survived by his wife and children Alvin Jr Harold M Kelty M and others
