Yule Traditions as Precious Christmas Tree Lore
Personalities and traditions linked to Christmas folklore weave through history like trimming on a grand tree. Arch Druids mistletoe, palm branches, Yule log, Hanukkah candelabra, and Saturnalia gift giving mingle with the Nativity scene as Mary and Joseph, angels, shepherds, and Wise Men share in adoration. Santa Claus leads a constellation of gift bearers alongside St. Nicholas, Befana, Baboushka, Christkind, and other legends as Epiphany and gift exchanges travel through lands. Jule Nisse and angel choirs circle Bethlehem’s tale, uniting nations in the Christmas story.
