New Tax Filing Deadline Set For Jan 15
John R. Wiley, Collector of Internal Revenue, reminds taxpayers that Congress moved the final date for filing Declarations of Estimated Income Tax and paying 1944 estimated tax to January 15 1945. Farmers who deferred April 15 may file by January 15. If 1944 return and tax due are paid by January 15 the return may serve as both return and declaration.
