Mound Valley Girls Win 4-H Honors Statewide
Alice Adams of the X Cello 4-H club wins a $50 war bond for first in the state dairy foods contest and is reserve champion in Foods Preparation. Barbara McGregor is reserve champion in Kerr Canning. Virginia Adams is county winner of the Girls Record contest. Both Alice and Barbara receive gold medals, with Kerr and Utah Power & Light sponsoring additional honors.

Last Tuesday Banida celebrated a Diamond Jubilee with three short playlets featuring Carma Larson Verna Swann Robert Geddes Elna Gregerson Gwen Gregerson Fern Larson and Fern Cole Gwen Gregerson sang a song. The Bee Hive girls sang two songs. The M Men and Gleaner girls staged a debate. Refreshments followed and a good crowd attended. Betty Larson of Preston visited Carma Larson last Thursday. The M Men and Gleaner girls held a party Thursday night and went to Dayton roller skate.
