Fire Chief George Reeder says Riverdale blaze consumed the first floor ceiling before units could obtain more water. About 500 gallons were on the truck and a refill failed when the engine stalled at the diver. The alarm came in at 4 20 p m and the home listed as the lone residence on the block.
