Judge Ends Term Receives Key To City
Probate Judge and Mrs O D Robinson attended the Ida ho State Judges Association convention in Pocatello last weekend. Mr Robinson serving as president was presented the key to the city by officials. Idaho and neighboring states supplied speakers and reports on the educational program. He completed two years as president during the convention.

Preston Man Receives Army Commendation Medal
Army Sergeant Eldon K. Crockett of Preston received the Army Commendation Medal on July 26 at Ft. Hood Texas while serving with the 2nd Armored Division. The 23 year old, a 1968 Army enlistee from Preston High, Idaho, earned the award for meritorious service in Vietnam with the 13th Artillery. He completed basic training at Ft. Lewis Washington and is a graduate of Preston High School.

Car Collisions Produce Several Weekend Crashes in Idaho
Multiple crashes in Franklin and Caribou counties leave Debbie Geddes 14 with minor injuries after a Preston station wagon hit a Cream-O-Weber truck. A Weston Fairview road crash totaled a pickup, and two Preston cars collide injuring no one. A produce truck rolled on Highway 36 east of Preston. eggs and dairy items were moved by pickup and winch. Licenses for DeLoy Sjarksen Nelson and David Nelson were suspended along with another Franklin county tag.
