First annual 4-H horseback ride and lamb barbecue
Thirty six 4 H Club members parents and leaders attended a two day overnight ride at Willow Flat July 25 26 with a lamb barbecue under chef Hugh Geddes and assistance from his sons Phillip and Jack They rode along Skyline Trail to Bloomington Lake and Paris Meadows and back to Willow Flat with guidance from Clair Hull and Tom Petterberg County Agents Ed Duren and DeVere Tovey led safety and horse exhibiting instruction A large list of attendees including Charles Izatt Robert Thomas and Dan Roberts is recorded with Geddes family involvement and school district support.
