The 4 H Willow Flat camp held July 19 21 drew about 36 members from Dayton Franklin Mapleton Mink Creek Preston and Thatcher. Groups hiked to a spring did hand crafts and enjoyed recreation with activities led by Daniel Roberts Gaylord Larson Lucretia Maughan Dan Cahoon and Ter yl Gibson. Meals included hotdogs soda watermelon and a marshmallow roast. Chris Hansen spoke of early Indians and Darrel Gamble shared stories. A treasure hunt Saturday saw Milton Baird s group win candy and Mary Joe Morrison s group win a watermelon.
