Former Lewiston Resident Dies In California
Mrs. Alice Hyer Rose wife of Otho E. Rose died April 5 in a Los Angeles hospital after a lingering illness. Born in Lewiston she lived there until 1929 when she moved with her husband to Los Angeles. She served in church roles including Primary teacher Society counselor and Relief Society president. Survivors include her husband son Darryl her mother Emma Hyer sisters Nelda Kelson and Wayie Allen and brothers Ariel and Asel. Funeral attended by family in Los Angeles with services also joined by Thomas E. Rose and Mrs Frederick Rallison. Interment was at Inglewood Park Cemetery.
