LDS stake visitors help present individual awards
Mapleton observers Mrs Hannah B Williams and Mrs Annie Palmer from the stake LDS girls group and stake priesthood leaders Weldon A Nash and Merlin T Whittle attended the ward event Friday evening to assist with presenting awards. The program featured singing, prayers, readings, jokes, and several award recipients including Floyd Ira and Rey Porter and Morris Gregory among others.

Community MIA meeting features talks and music
Attendance remained 100 percent as members enjoyed dancing and refreshments. Lois Porter, Eugene Long, Patsy Sorenson, Fred E. Porter, Veneta Burbank, Ira Porter, and Louise Knapp gave talks with musical selections by Aiton Long and Rayma Long. Elders from Weston spoke at sacrament meeting and several families joined in cross-town visits and a five generation photo.

Leland Auger family and daughters Zetta Ellen traveled to Salt Lake. Guy Housley of Lewiston returned home with bed and stayed a few days. Ellis Wheeler spent Thursday in Ogden.
