Push to Maintain Sugar Industry in Cache Valley

Interim Crop Payment Mailed to Utah Idaho Growers
Amalgamated Sugar Co. said an interim sugarbeet payment of 85 cents per ton will be mailed to more than 500 farmers in northern Utah and southeastern Idaho by this weekend. The payout adds to the already processed 1966 sugarbeet crop and mirrors the spring 1965 interim payout.
