Grace Organizations Rally Behind Leon McAuliffe Show Fundraiser
Grace Idaho civic groups join forces with Grace Lions Club city council and schools to sponsor the Leon McAuliffe Show and dance. Proceeds fund a lighted recreation area behind Grace High School with play facilities and outdoor spaces for student and community use. Leon McAuliffe, famed Western Swing star and longtime Bob Wills collaborator, will headline with advance tickets $1.50 adults $1.00 students.

Cancer Crusade Meeting Promotes Public Education
The annual American Cancer Society crusade met at the courthouse led by chairman Har vey Larsen with Asael Bell explaining the Community Captain and Tell Your Neighbor kits to committee members. J Clifford Forsgren chaired the educational committee backed by Orion Jensen and Dr O R Cutler as they presented discussions and films to schools and groups. James E Worseley of Boise urged public education on the seven danger signals and annual physicals, noted county statistics, invited Franklin County workers to visit Utah research facilities, and highlighted ACS publications for doctors to share with the public. He also pressed for visiting the research department at the University of Utah. The April 6 week was set for family visits to spread the message. Mr and Mrs Thomas K Greaves are vacationing in Menlo Park, Calif.
