Franklin County Considers Dual Class A School Districts
Franklin County officials presented a plan to create two class A districts within the county with a public hearing announced elsewhere. If approved by the state committee and local voters, trustees will be chosen from district areas to govern until the next school election, with Preston possibly counted separately if in favor. The speaker urges unity across east and west sides, arguing a two-district setup benefits education and employee governance more than a single county unit.
