Organist Pat Davis Courted by Dodgers Fans in Bar Tale
An eccentric feature highlights Pat Davis the Green Frog organist at 1820 Atlantic Ave. She reportedly loves the Dodgers and exudes a cheerful stage presence while playing nightly from 9. The piece riffs on her long career starting at 15, her switch to the Hammond organ, and a fans’ and listeners’ playful betting on the team. It also notes other local entertainment updates and performers in Long Beach.
