New Worker Named for cancer Unit

Mrs. Doris Swenson has been appointed district field representative for the American Cancer Society in District 7 covering Harbor Area. Donald P. Loker, district chairman, notes she will work with former leader Rogers after three years in the district. Swenson, a longtime resident of Long Beach, is new to ACS and has previously chaired volunteers in her community.

California counties expand sales tax to forty four
