The Lesbian Part II Which is Which Today It's Hard to Tell
A study of lesbians navigating liberated roles and shifting identities amid feminist currents. Interviews with Barbara Laurie Dianna and others reveal a move away from butch femme dynamics toward varied partnerships. Doctors Rankin and Fradkin note lesbians often resemble other women, with many married and raising children. The piece also profiles Jan and Gay, a county couple, living together while their vows remain nonlegal.
