Love Means Tops Billboard as Wilder Brothers Break Through
The Wilder brothers of Dragon Studios rise to national fame after Randy Wood discovers their family sound. A new version of Love Means, sung as a trio, hits the top Billboard chart for 19 weeks and spurs international recording in multiple languages. They decline offers to stay in Rossmoor to focus on records and publishing, while continuing club engagements and expanding their look with Bacharach and David songs.
