Felipe Rivero, head of the Cuban Nationalist Association, says he would have preferred a larger strike as his group’s commandos bomb the Cuban Embassy in Ottawa. Rivero described himself as a Egyptology hobbyist and stated his preference for Cuba over the Soviet Union. He was later rumored to have been ransomed from Cuba for 100000 dollars.
