Theater rejection report stirs debate in Carson City
Carson City Council debated a resolution detailing findings from an engineer report on a proposed six screen drive in theater. The council kept rejecting the Enron desocrates report by a 3-2 vote, citing methane gas safety concerns and a changed plot plan that would funnel all 2700 cars to a single access. The item highlighted ongoing controversy over the project and related methane gas control plans for nearby sites.
