Brown expands probe into Prop 22 petition fraud in eight counties
Secretary of State Edmund G. Brown Jr. said he has substantial evidence of misrepresentation by petition circulators in Alameda Fresno Kern Orange San Diego San Bernardino Santa Ana and San Mateo Counties. He reports hundreds of affidavits from citizens claiming fraud and signs filed under false pretenses as part of the grower backed Prop 22 initiative to regulate agricultural labor relations.
