Preventive Study Plans Mock Plane Crash Monday
A bloodless simulated airplane crash will occur at Long Beach Municipal Airport at 8 a m Monday as part of a preventive study. Twenty four USC flight officers will determine impact angle and other factors with Long Beach Air Force Base and the 2347th Air Reserve Center coordinating. Washington reports local Union 246 backing Thomas J Haggerty in related arrangements. The program marks the aviation safety division entering its ninth year of training pilots for the Air Force Army and Navy with 958 graduates to date.
