Gypsy rocks scene with ABC Dunhill deal and varied sounds
The article profiles Gypsy, a long running band with about 444 years of service by Rasenbaur and three years for Walsh, plus Epstein who joined Hirce months ago. They write original material including Dead and Gone and I'll Let You Go, with a likely ABC Dunhill contract after a tough tape process. The piece notes diverse styles from folk and country western to rock and soul, compares their sound to Buffalo Springfield and a horned Chicago group, and discusses industry risks and release timing.
