Sinatra deposition in $2.5 million suit details alleged Palm Springs fight
In a San Francisco deposition, Frank Sinatra denies provoking fights and says he was rarely involved, though he admits verbal confrontations during his career. The suit by Frank J. Weinstock alleges Sinatra ordered two associates to beat him in 1973 after a party member acted toward Weinstock’s wife. The case, in U.S. District Court, proceeds as trial was scheduled to begin. Also noted, a New York man’s robbery and larceny charges tied to John F. Kennedy Sr.’s bicycle were dismissed as Robert Lopez faced further court appearances.
