Funeral services for W I Bill Jones father of Equestrian Trials Inc and founder of the Long Beach Mounted Guard are set for 10 am Wednesday at Spongberg Mortuary. Jones, born in Kansas, was a Long Beach painter for decades and helped start juvenile programs with the police bureau. He died Sunday at 76. Burial will be at Rose Hills Cemetery. Memorial gifts may go to the Cal Farley Boys Ranch Amarillo Texas.
