U S Curbs Travel in South Viet Nam
UPI reports the United States will not press South Vietnamese President Ngo Dinh Diem to drop his brother and chief adviser, with no plan to cut the overall U.S. mission. About 1,200 nonmilitary officials and 12,000 to 14,000 U.S. service members remain in the country, plus 100 to 200 non-government civilians and over 500 dependents.
