Painters and Employers End Talks Without Settlement
Negotiations between almost 5,000 striking painters and employers ended late Monday at the Disneyland Motel after three days with no deal. A. Patrick Nagel of the Painters and Decorating Contractors Association called the differences substantial and said labor leaders may be asked to resume negotiations Wednesday.
