De Seversky Calls for Single U S Armed Service Plan
Maj Alexander P De Seversky urged a United States single service to unify air and space forces at the Southern California Anti- Communist School in Los Angeles. He warned war with the Soviet Union is likely without drastic reorganization and faster missile program development. He praised U S defense efforts but criticized delays in Nike Zeus and urged prompt Senate action for a Freedom Academy to train professionals in cold war warfare.
