Seal Beach endorses high school tax measure despite transit vote
The Seal Beach City Council, 3 to 2, endorsed Huntington Beach Union High School District's 11.3875 million tax proposal to fund a new high school. A motion to endorse Orange County Rapid Transit District's 1 cent sales tax proposal failed. council offered no clear stance. Council debated water rate changes, parking lot fees, and appointed Patrick Coughlan as assistant city attorney.
