Funeral services were held today for Senator Tom Connally at Martin's West Methodist Church in Marlin Texas. Rev Asbury Lenox conducted the last rites as Connally, a former senator from Texas, died after years of ill health from pneumonia in Washington. He had lived quietly in Washington since leaving the Senate in 1951.
