Draft Board Protest Blood Spill in Baltimore

Submachine Guns Kill 2 Policemen in Northlake Bank Attack
In Northlake suburb, masked bandits armed with a submachine gun killed two policemen and wounded a third during a bank robbery. Oberlin Students Block Navy Recruiters in Sit-In
About 70 Oberlin College students blocked the placement office door to prevent Navy recruiters Lt. Cmdr. C. R. Smith and Lt. (J.G.) Phillip McCaffrey from leaving. The sit-in ended with the recruiters allowed to depart after agreeing not to recruit outside the room, and police dispersed the crowd with tear gas and high-pressure water.
