More than 400 Negroes marched through Macon downtown to protest the shooting of a youth by police. An inquest into his death heard hours of testimony before Coroner A R King Jr recessed the case until Friday. A 16 year old girl testified she saw A C Hall shot as he ran from a police car during an attempted arrest for theft. Officers Durden and Brown said Hall reached toward his pocket and they fired. Marchers carried placards reading stop this senseless killing.
