Hughes plans spin off oil tools unit in 140 million offering
Bil lonaire Howard Hughes will sell the oil tools division of Hughes Tool Co in a roughly 140 million public stock offering. The spin off will form Hughes Tool Co in name while the parent company becomes Summa Corp. The offering may price at 28 a share with about 5 million shares offered and 20 million authorized.
