Taylor family survives breakwater crash in cruiser Rolyat
June and Fred Taylor escaped after their 30-Victor powered cruiser Rolyat struck the breakwater at dusk during a harbor cruise. They climbed onto rocks as the boat flooded, the Mayday radio was ready, and salvage by barge and crane began. Fred blamed prior partying and seamanship lessons learned from the incident. Relatives of Ian Whisenant in Minnesota sent sympathy messages as she and Clay had just returned from a autumn trip to Minnesota.

North and South bidding in spades from high card plan
The article analyzes Oswald Jacoby North's strategy with a high card opening and shows the fourth hand spade bid as correct. North's jump to three spades invites game, while South's response goes to four spades with risks.
