Seismic Oil Survey Data For Los Angeles Harbor
Los Angeles harbor officials released results of no geophysical surveys on oil development potential. Seismic work by Geophysical Service Inc. and United Geophysical Corp in 1962–63, plus L. F. Ivanhoe analysis, indicate a strong possibility of a sizable oil pool under a 400 acre Terminal Island tract near the harbor. Copies available from the harbor board.
