Nudist statues to wear shorts at Maricopa County complex
The four statues titled The Family by John Waddell will be clothed with shorts after county supervisors L Alton Riggs and William Andrews deemed the initial lack of clothing inappropriate. Waddell said the move prioritizes aesthetics over morals and that the figures are now properly clothed without compromising himself.

Stolen Stamps Attract Mafia Fences And Profits
Atlantic City reports that about two million dollars in stolen five cent stamps have become a magnet for organized crime. Post Office inspector Henry B. Montague says fences resell stamps to supposedly legitimate firms, often set up to facilitate fraud, with margins squeezing the honest wholesaler. Gangs have operated from Miami to the Midwest in a belt from St. Paul to St. Louis, selling stamps to fences at 30 to 50 percent of face value and fences to companies at 50 to 75 percent. As postage rates rise, the incentive to steal stamps grows.
